Tony Iommi personally picked this pedal out of 500+ boosters tested over a two week period. After years of research into what I believe were the modifications done to his original unit, I simply can’t get a better endorsement.
Dallas Rangemaster
The simple circuit hides a dynamic effect with the addition of tone switching you can use the Rangemaster in its original configuration, as well as two further settings providing a thicker and wider range boost. The lower being the closest I’ve ever heard to the fabled Rangemaster of Tony Iommi.
The design based directly off my own Rangemaster circuit as well as the text and graphic. Powder coated with the same style hammered silver finish and UV printed.
Handwired from scratch by me and voiced perfectly, the whole circuit being built with original 60s components, all new components of the highest quality. Makes a solid addition to any board and can be wired direct to a standard 9v power supply.
Components:
- Mullard Made in Great Britain OC44 transistor circa 1957–60, the heart of this circuit and one of the most sought after geranium transistors out there
- Mullard Mustard capacitors circa 1967
- Plessey oil and paper cap circa 1965
- Erie Resistors circa 1960
- Philips Electrolytic caps circa 1970s
- Colvern wirewound potentiometer circa 1960
Due to very high demand at the moment there is a short delay on shipping at the moment lead time is max 1 week.
